This course teaches intermediate English composition skills and techniques. This course builds on basic writing skills to develop beginner or intermediate students towards an advanced level. The course will focus on skills for organization and synthesizing smaller units of writing into larger ones, from sentences to paragraphs and then from paragraphs to compositions. Students will hopefully finish the course knowing how to organize thoughts or argument into a cohesive, rich and thoughtful essay.
