Style & Narrative
This seminar will concentrate on David Mitchell’s tour de force novel, Cloud Atlas, in an attempt to develop a refined critical understanding of the concepts of Genre, Style & Narrative. We will develop a detailed close reading of the novel, and at the same time, use it as a starting point to consider these questions in terms of the Anglo-American literary tradition.
